    Ultrasound Body Contouring Coming

    Liposonix, which is now a part of Medicis®, is a high-intensity ultrasound device designed to improve the body contour and remove unwanted localized fat pockets from the body. This new technology is very exciting, though it is still being developed and is not yet available in America. The FDA has yet to approve Liposonix use in the US.

    How Liposonix Works

    Liposonix uses ultrasound waves which target the fat tissues underneath the surface of the skin for liquefaction and removal through the body’s lymphatic system. This leaves the body more toned with improved contour. European research reports reduction in circumference of 2 to 3 inches, however I have yet to actually use this device personally.
