During the surgery a liquid is injected into you and after surgery you have to stay bandaged up as the the fluid leaves your body from the holes. I had the surgery today and am currently recovering. The pain is not bad but the fluid draining makes a huge mess. Luckily I was able to get the surgery done on a Saturday. I would have had to miss work just because of the mess from the drainage.

After 2 c-sections, 6 years apart and the last being 7 months ago...I was so tired of the muffin top coming out of the top of all of my pants. I knew I would never have a completely flat stomach again, but had hoped that I could at least look slim in clothes. I researched ProLipo and decided to do it b/c you didn't have to go under and the recovery time was minimal (as compared to lipo and or
a tummy tuck)
The procedure was fine, not much pain and when there was a pang or something hurt. I did not do well with the pain medication after the procedure. It made me sick and I threw up. I got another pain killer and this one made me itch and made things worse. When I quit taking the pain killers, and just took Xanax all was well.
I noticed results immediately, even though there was a good amount of swelling and fluid. Drainage was an issue~just messy~wear black yoga pants or sweats to and from procedure b/c you will ruin them with fluid. I ended up sleeping on top of a plastic bag and saved my sheets.
Drainage only lasted for about 12 hours after Prolipo.
I bruise easily and did so with this procedure. Minor bruising around my flanks, belly button, c-section scar and upper ribs were purple the rest was yellowish.
I am experiencing knotty parts under the skin now (8 days after) which is worrying me. I go back into the dr. in 3 days to receive laser follow up. I am hoping this breaks up this knotty tissue.
My husband and mother can already tell a big difference in my stomach.
